IMHCT: Welcome everyone to today’s session. I am joined by two gentlemen that are in the hair industry. Laurent owns Liv’s Barber Shop here in Brooklyn. And, Rudy is his premier barber. I’d like to welcome both of you.

Laurent/Rudy: Thank you. Thank you. How are you doing?

IMHCT: I’m doing great. Or as Rudy would say, what’s good, what’s good! Guys, I told you I wanted to talk to you because as you know, I have a blog that’s called If My Hair Could Talk. I started it because I went natural about eight years ago and I just feel like my hair had a lot to say. So, I wanted to talk with both of you because you’re experts and even though you work in a barber shop, we all know hair is hair!

Laurent/Rudy: Yesssss! That’s right.

IMHCT: So, first, I’d like everybody to get to know a little bit about you. Let’s start with you Laurent. How long have you been doing hair?

Laurent: I’ve been doing hair since August 9th, 1999…
